. . . .

had a wonderful and lovely birthday
appreciate all that you prepared for me (:

Hong Kong Senior Citizen Trip 2010
bringing ur grandma and mum overseas isnt easy task at all
much much more tired out than my backpacking trips
but despite all d tiredness, it was worth it.

and both of them amazed me totally
they can walk and walk and walk and i was like.... can we stop? HAA.
especially my grandma. she walked and she ate so heartily..

it's something i can never buy with money
it's memories that will be with me for life

the entire tunnel was rows and rows of nissin cup noodles with
slurping sound effect... was really cute.

wasnt exactly a place for the elderly but my mum wanted to see
how the Ocean Park looked like.. so took a bus there but it rained
so heavily, there wasnt any corner to go look around..

decided to bring my folks to macau
it was an hr ferry ride there and it cost abt 70bucks two-way
actually a lot of places are accessible via train, bus, boat from hk
to places in china and off islands.. so it's like a pit stop to dozens of
interesting places.. u just needa do ur hmwk and dare to explore..

after living for the past 26yrs and 20++ days, i finally stepped into
a casino! hahaaA. took dis shot covertly.. dis one was really glitz

and so i played my first casino slot machine
played 20bucks and i lost all of it.. while my mum won.
well, gambling's not d way to get rich and live life..
after playing for that mere period, i realized how easily one can
get sucked into the world of gambling if u dunno how to stop..
做人还是脚踏实地的比较好 .... ~

i have to pay 100bucks to enter the Sands Sg....
but i paid nothing in macau! it was casinos, casinos, casinos
at every turn and streets of macau.
there's free shuttle buses of every type to take you to any casino..
the city of casinos.... i believe, is also the city of no return ~

and of coz the bungee jump!!
it's right at the top of the macau tower
dun think the jumps are cheap but ppl like me will still pay for it

my folks were rather uncomfortable as they reached the top
coz it's really high and u can see much of the land into china too

also brought them to big rain mountain.
it's very high up.. much higher than genting highlands
took d cable car up and it was swinging wildly to d winds
the clouds moved past u.. and there were really cool sights..

seriously, nothing beats seeing the smiles on the faces of ur loved ones..

there r islands connected within the islands
so check out other places by taking the buses on the main island
we took d bus to tai-o fishing village..

and guess what we saw there....
a group of elderly folks playing mahjong together....
so relaxed.. that's what life should be like sometimes..
and not chasing after and chasing after and chasing after..

up on top of the island, is the famous statue
and of coz my folks had to make a trip there
they climbed up all the steps to the top!!

and through it all.... this is what i wish for my old folks.. esp my ah ma.
